FENTY BEAUTY IS HERE

Duckie Thot, Selena Forrest, Slick Woods, Halima Aden --all models of different ethnicities, featured in the promotion for Rihanna's new makeup launch.  Then this past Friday, September 8th we made it. Fenty Beauty Is Finally Here. Arguably one of the most anticipated cosmetic launches of the year, Rihanna's new line is now available in retailers, Sephora and Harvey Nichols (U.K, Ireland)

Leading up to launch day, we in the 'navy' have been on edge with hints and teasers waiting for months to shell out all our coin(t)s in support. Even without knowing entirely what was being produced. It was Aunty Rih... come on!

In reference, Rihanna is that one creative who's 10/10 good for it. From albums to FENTYxPUMA, anything she has a hand in is typically held to a high standard. Her clothing line is in its third season and has also earned a legitimate spot in New York Fasion Week selling out every time there's a release.

With how big of a deal Fenty Beauty was going to be fans were just ready; no questions asked. And must I say from what I can see very little to no disappointment.

Two years ago, Rihanna revealed her plans to launch a beauty line and two years to the day, she began releasing teasers; dropping subtle hints at red carpet events in addition to tagging Fenty Beauty in her photos.

With that, Fenty Beauty made huge waves on social media with a campaign that celebrated models of different skin tones AND a promise of product offering 40 shades of foundation. Having recognized this need for representation, inclusivity was Rihanna's number one goal here. It's a beautiful thing when someone with such a platform and influence shines a light... and this one GLOWS
